At the beginning of April, members of our team: Paweł Gwiaździński, PhD (Jagiellonian University - Collegium Medicum), Izabella Kryńska, MA, and Tomi Wójtowicz, MA, (Poznań University of Technology), had the pleasure of being interviewed on the topic of misinformation, for the well-known podcast "Techstorie", hosted by prominent journalists representing Gazeta Wyborcza and RADIO TOK FM: Sylwia Czubkowska and Joanna Sosnowska.

The topic was incredibly broad, participants spent over 1.5 hours in a lively conversation. The authors were interested in the problem of disinformation, mainly from the perspective of the current topic of Russia's aggression against Ukraine and the activities of the so-called "Russian trolls" - agents of the Kremlin, professionally engaged in spreading disinformation and fake news on the Internet.

Tomi Wójtowicz and Izabela Krysińska introduced participants to the thematic of how such disinformers' accounts work and their own research involved using machine learning to track them. Pawel Gwiaździński, on the other hand, talked about research he had the pleasure of leading on possible psychological interventions to counter the spread of misinformation in social media.

In the published version of the podcast, fragments of the interview were used, and the journalists very knowledgeably and interestingly outlined the subject matter and even the details of our activities within the #Webimmunization project. We highly recommend listening to the podcast "Techstorie", the episode entitled: “Rosyjska dezinformacja, czyli świat bez skrupułów i moralności. Odcinek, od którego rozboli cię głowa” (in Polish). The episode is also available on the Spotify platform.
